Well, I hate to say it, but I think I'm going through those 'teens years' where everything seems dreadful and blurry. Though you only see that in movies and I would have never said that to be me. I have identity. I have identity in Christ; which thank Heavens elminates the partying, drinking, swearing, typical teenager ordeal. But recently I've been feeling empty. It seems like emptiness has been following me around everywhere I go. I know you think - 'she just said she has identity in Christ?' --sure, but that doesn't mean Satan isn't out to attack, it actually means Satan will try to attack stronger. It seems as if temptation is around every corner I turn, not sin, but temptation. I just finished reading 'Dating Delilah' by Judah Smith. It's all about purity and dating Delilah (the story of Samson and Delilah who in this day and age is the seducing spirit). Judah tells us that Delilah (temptation) is everywhere we go but RUN! And explain later! We have the opportunity to RUN from that temptation that will lead us into sin.
So, is it the temptation and sin that has left me feeling empty? Empty meaning relationships with loved ones are cold/nothing of or in this world will fill my inner-man. And of course, I know, understand and fully agree with that.. I can assure you that I strive to live in this world but not to be of it. So why? Why am I feeling empty? I'm so SICK of it!! Blahh just some thoughts in my mind at 12:45 AM. Night beautiful people.
